- 1st Sunday per month
- 10:45 – Service including communion. Creche and junior church activities, supervised by DBS checked members.
- 2nd Sunday per month
- 10:45 – Service with no communion. Creche and junior church activities, supervised by DBS checked members.
- 3rd Sunday per month
- 10:45 – All age service. No junior church.
- 17:30 – informal get-together with hymns, prayers, and readings, led by Avis Clipston.
- 4th and 5th Sundays per month –
- 10:45 – Service with no communion. Creche and junior church activities, supervised by DBS checked members.
Junior church is for all children 3-14 and consists of age- appropriate stories, play and craft relevant to the topic of the day. It is held in the Assembly Rooms next to the church. The children are led out about 20 mins into the service. For the very young we can provide creche facilities throughout if required, but if you prefer to look after your own children, we are happy with that, too. We like to hear the sounds of children in church. All our regular preachers expect it.
Other Regular Activities
- Monday, every week
- 15:00 – Over 50s table tennis in John Yeomans Hall
- Monday, fortnightly
- 09:30 to 11:30 – Footsteps Tots and carers group: 0-4 yrs free play, snacks, tea /coffee provided at fixed times to encourage social eating. We sing mostly nursery rhymes with simple praise songs. Depending on the age of the group, there might be a very simple Bible story. £2.00 per family, all helpers DBS checked.
- 19:00 – Ladies’ Night, a social evening with a speaker or activity and refreshments
- Thursdays, during term time
- 09.15 to 12.30 – Mother & Toddlers group. Free play sessions with large climbing toys and ride-ons as well as smaller hand toys. £2.00 per family, all staff DBS checked.
- Friday, every week
- 11.00 to 13.00 – Church open as a designated warm space. Just drop in and have a look round while you get warm. You will find a warm welcome to go with the warm space, guaranteed.
- 18.00 to 20.00 – Community Youth Club 11-18yrs. Subs payable.
- Saturday, 3rd of the month
- 18.00 to 20.00 Not So Young Ones. Bring and share tea, followed by games, board games, quizzes, beetle, and even silly Olympics on occasion. Light hearted fun for those who have still got a sense of humour!
